In the interest of full disclosure . . . .

That was my lead-in to telling my eye doctor that we were doing IVF -- I didn't think he really needed to know, but it felt a bit strange responding "allergy meds" when the tech asked me what kind of medications I was taking. Anywho, he was glad to have the information, especially since my eyes have gotten significantly worse this year -- a change he chalks up to, you guessed it, the IVF meds. Who knew?! Goes to show that all health care providers (even eye doctors, apparently) need to be in the circle of IVF trust.

And here you thought I was going to tell you how accupuncture went. Okay, okay, I will.

It.

Was.

Awesome.

For those who've asked, yes, it's Dr. Ivey. She's just great! I'm already looking forward to next week's appointment.

Yesterday's testing went well. I'm "sufficiently suppressed," so we're clear to start stims tomorrow night. Bring it on.

Have a great weekend!

Weird about the eye doctor... we're (ahem, long) due for eye appts. Wonder if the meds screwed with my eyes, too!?

Yay about starting stims! That is so awesome!!!

Glad the acu went well. I'm still very interested in it & would love to do it someday!

You are a stronger person than me - I hate needles so much. Every single morning I had to pray, put on praise and worship music, and quote scripture just to get me through those 5 minutes!

No wayyyyyy would I volunteer for more needles :)

Here's to your next cycle!

Great to hear that you enjoyed your accupuncture appointment! I keep thinking about it, but haven't pulled the trigger yet.

hey, thanks for the comment. best of luck, i'm off to shoot up now!

that actually makes sense about your eyes...i remember my eye doc saying vision gets much worse during pregnancy and since we shoot up all the same hormones... as if there weren't enough lovely side effects.
